Our vision is to be a model sports institution to support the development and create a sustainable passion for the sport of cricket in Ghana.

Founder’s Message

Cricket was introduced in Ghana by British missionaries and merchants in the late 19th Century. Arguably, cricket is the oldest imported sport in Ghana. Ghana, then Gold Coast, played her first international cricket tournament in Lagos on May 25, 1904, against Nigeria winning by 22 runs. Ghana has subsequently been a member of the International Cricket Council and participated in international competitions. There is however the need to double our efforts to make cricket a much more embraced and regular sport within schools, communities, and campuses. In establishing this Foundation, our aim is to draw synergies from former cricketers and partners to contribute to realizing this vision. I invite all former cricketers, corporate bodies, schools, etc to come aboard to find their worthy places in this drive to contribute to the growth of cricket for Ghana. Join us create the biggest cricket community in Ghana! Thank you.
