Jerry Acheampong is professionally an enterprising operations/procurement and logistics lead with
Technology Distributions of Ghana. He holds an MPil in Developmental Studies (Education) and also
equipped with knowledge and skill in behavioral science, business studies and more currently in the
IT industry. He has previously held roles as Sales Executive and have contributed to sustainable
growth and progress in all positions held.
His passion and pursuit for cricket started at University of Ghana where he contributed immensely to
the revival and development of the sport into known and well participated sport. He was the Captain
of the Mensah Sarbah Hall Cricket Team from 2006 to 2009. The pursuit further translated into his
involvement in forming the Alumni Cricket Club that participated in the Greater Accra Cricket League
for some periods. He is a dedicated, passionate and high-spirited sportsman with belief that cricket,
like other popular sports, has equal potential for sustainable development for the teaming youth and
national development.
At the Cricket for Ghana Foundation, he seeks to execute his role as the Finance Coordinator for
effective financial administration of the Foundation. He views his involvement with Cricket for Ghana
Foundation as a vehicle to promote the development of the sports at the grassroot and also on a scale
that will lift up the knowledge and participation of the growing youth.
