Charles is an employee of the National Petroleum Authority. He is a Quantity Surveyor by profession and a certified member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS).
His first appearance in cricket was in Achimota Secondary School during his first year where he was selected to be a member of the Cadbury House Cricket Team as an All-Rounder. In 2007, he represented the house team as an opening batsman and opening bowler and led the team to the final that year. He was adjudged the Best Bowler at the end of the competition and further went on to be named as the Assistant Captain of the Achimota School Cricket Team in 2008.
He is currently a member of Supreme Cricket Club, who were crowned as Champions of the New Year Invitational League Tournament organized by the Ghana Cricket Association. As the Director of Finance for the Cricket for Ghana Foundation, Charles seeks to ensure that there is good financial management regarding organizing, planning, controlling and directing activities of the Foundation.
