Philip Debrah Danquah is currently the Principal Consultant of e-Crime Bureau, Ghana’s leading cyber
security and digital forensics firm with nine (9) years’ experience in cyber security operations and three
(3) years’ experience in telecommunications. Philip attended Achimota School from 2001 to 2004, where
he picked interest in the sport of cricket during his second year. He represented in the Fraser House Team
in all inter-house cricket competitions. Cricket was re-introduced at the University of Ghana in 2006 and
Philip led the process of building a team and as captain from 2006 to 2009 under very good coaching
guidance from Mr. Hoya and Mr. Kofi Anafie as the University’s Sports Directorate invested significantly
to get cricket on its feet. On completion of his first degree, the University presented a citation to him for
his outstanding support to the growth of cricket on campus.
He led the University to the bilateral games with University of Ibadan in 2006 and 2007, led Legon Hall to
win two (2) inter-halls cricket competitions, won Gold in Cricket at the West Africa University Games,
2008 and was part of Ghana’s Senior Men’s National Team that won the ICC Africa Region Level 2 Cricket
Tournament in Benoni, South Africa in 2008. Philip formed the Alumni Cricket Club after completing the
University of Ghana in 2009 to continue to bring graduates interested in the sport together to play in
competitions, inspire students and make impact. The club transformed in the BGC Cricket Club with its
core members helping its formation in 2011/2012.
Philip is a strong believer in the spirit of teamwork, good corporate governance and practices, innovation,
continuous improvement and sustainable growth, customer satisfaction and professional ethics to achieve
desired corporate results. He is passionate about cricket, for its values and impact it can make on physical,
academic and social wellbeing of the youth and humanity in general.
He is a Certified Data Protection Supervisor and Certified in Cyber Security. He holds a Master of Business
Administration (MBA) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology/Accra Business
School, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management & Administration from the Institute of
Commercial Management (U.K) and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Ghana.
As the Founder and Director, Strategy for the Foundation, Philip seeks to leave a legacy by contributing to
uplifting the growth of the sport of cricket in Ghana.
